When the often-fired Walt (Shameik Moore) takes a job at his local bowling alley, AlleyCatz, cleaning the bar and picking up shoes, he feels like he’s finally found a home. When AlleyCatz runs into financial trouble, former bowler and current champion drinker Skunk (D’Arcy Carden) pressures Walt to embrace his role as the greatest bowler to ever walk the earth. While Walt’s love of big checks and in-your-face style of play dominate the Pro Tour, his detractors, including ratings-obsessed news anchor Angelo Powers and recently retired bowling legend Linda “The Crusher” Curson (Susan Sarandon), fiercely try to extinguish Walt’s flame before it burns too brightly.
